Peintre : Mikel Chaussepied dit Mika. (Naissance 1936). Il vient d’une famille d'architectes originaire de Nantes, a fait l’école des beaux arts de Quimper puis celle de Rennes. Peintre listé sur “artprice”.
Cette aquarelle intitulée "les quais du Cap Horn à Quimper" date des années 50. Elle capture une scène portuaire. Au premier plan on peut voir de petits bateaux de pêche tandis qu’un chalutier et le port apparaissent à l’arrière. Les dégradés de bleus, gris et noirs utilisés par l’artiste sont superbes. (il y a des traces de piqures anciennes sur le papier, surtout au niveau du ciel visibles sur la photo)

Small fishing boats can be seen in the foreground, while a trawler and the harbor appear in the background. The gradations of blue, gray and black used by the artist are superb (there are traces of old pitting on the paper, especially in the sky. Shown on picture).
