Le premier tableau représente l’atelier de l’artiste à Barbizon en 1934. Ce tableau, de facture impressionniste est une vue intérieur-extérieur. Au premier plan à gauche des rideaux et la porte ouverte. A droite sur un muret, quelques pots avec des pinceaux. Dehors une jolie cour fleurie et arborée avec au fond une maison. Le jeu de lumières, la profondeur parfaitement maitrisée donne au tableau une atmosphère très vivante. Il est signé en bas à droite avec la mention “Barbizon 1934”.

Le deuxième tableau est une vue de clapier au fond d’un jardin. La palette des couleurs est superbe et complète très bien l’autre tableau. Il est signé en bas à droite et daté 1935.
36 × 26 cm sans marie-louise et 46 × 36,5 cm avec.
Les deux tableaux ne sont pas encadrés, Les Marie-Louise sont à remplacer.

On the right, on a low wall, a few pots with brushes. Outside, a pretty courtyard planted with flowers and trees, with a house in the background. The play of light and perfectly controlled depth give the painting a lively atmosphere. Signed lower right with the words “Barbizon 1934”.

The second painting is a view of a hutch at the bottom of a garden. It is not as interesting as the studio view, but it is very well executed, with a superb color palette that complements the other painting very well. It is signed lower right and dated 1935.

Both paintings are unframed, the Marie-Louise are to be replaced.
